Sunday 16th June - Nine Maidens' Walk
As usual the celebration takes the form of a walk form Glenogilvy to Dunoon followed by a party in Eassie & Nevay Hall. For the walk you can either leave from Denview, Glenogilvy and walk to Easter Dunoon or you can walk from Easter Dunoon to the bridge close to the Haining and back to Easter Dunoon. Both parties start their departing point at 1.30pm and make their way to the "Nine Maidens" bridge for the "meeting of the communities" at 3pm and a ceremonial dram from the Nine Maidens' quaich.

After the hill meeting the whole group makes its way to Easter Dunoon and then onto Eassie & Nevay Hall (transport arranged) arriving about 5pm.

At the hall there will be a display explaining the legend and a buffet meal (food and drink provided by those attending). There will also be an hour or of Scottish Country Dance tuition courtesy of Hazel Burgess and plenty of time to chat and catch up on the news.

Join in and keep the legend of the Nine Maidens alive
