Glamis Christmas Market


Another date for your diary. On Sunday 7th December there will be a Christmas Market in Glamis Masonic Hall. It will run between 1pm and 4pm and will have various stalls and a Santa's Grotto. There is bound to be something for everyone and you are sure to get in the mood for Christmas.


National Trust for Scotland Coffee mornings

The Angus Members' Centre of the National Trust for Scotland is running two coffee mornings in November. The first is on Saturday 1st November at Kirriemuir Old Parish Church and the second on Saturday 15th November in the Guide Hall, Forfar. There will be a plant stall, produce, Christmas cards, baking stall etc. at both events which will run between 10am and 12 noon. Pop along for your morning coffee, you will be made most welcome and will be supporting a worthwhile cause.





Final Afternoon Tea


ENKCA have been hosting afternoon teas each Sunday in August for  hall funds.  The final  August teas are being served this Sunday between 2pm and 4pm. The tea include sandwiches, pancake, scone and cakes for a very reasonable charge of £5 per person. Every week numbers have increased and last week over 70 afternoon teas were provided.
 
For the final week, there will be various stalls in the cafe area between 2pm and 5pm. Admission to browse these stalls are free and will include:

The Angus Members' Centre for the National Trust of Scotland plant stall.
Myreside Organics which will be selling salad bags, cucumbers and vegetables which are Soil Association Certified.
Local artist Shona Barr exhibiting her art work of local landscapes, animal and textile work.
Blooming Bees preparing fresh cut flowers and homecrafts from Forfar.
Willow Weaving Demonstrations with Rachel Bower of Woven Willow will on during the afternoon.

August afternoon teas

The  popular afternoon tea Sundays  will be running again this year every Sunday in August between 2pm and 4pm to raise funds for Eassie and Nevay Hall. A selection of sandwiches, scones, pancakes and home baking will be served in the main hall for £5 per person.


Come along and enjoy the newly planted garden area and see what else the busy community has to offer. Community produce and book stalls will be running.
